The Endowment Fund
The PSOD needs to build an Endowment Fund to improve the quality of life and support the life long care of persons with rare disorders. The interest earnings of the Endowment Fund will be directed to:
- Primarily sustain long standing and life long treatment of patients with rare disorder (such as Enzyme Replacement Therapy, special food formula, rehabilitation therapy, monitoring diagnostic test)
- Supporting continuous programs for public awareness
- Develop and sustain family support programs as well as training of family members, doctors, health professionals, paramedical personnel, community health workers on the care and management of patients with rare disorders
- Sustain timely researches that will contribute to the body of world knowledge to obtain eventually a permanent cure or treatment for persons with rare disorders
- Sustain the organization to be self reliant and financially viable to pursue its goals and objectives
We appeal to donors to help us build the Endowment Fund by way of contributing to the fund as:
